Suitable for all genres and abilities. Beginners welcome.                

 

£6 per class. Booking not necessary.

Each class is designed to cater to the needs of those present. It will include activities such as: 

·      A taught element. The content of this will be decided in discussion with the class.

·      Creative Writing exercises – techniques to generate ideas and raw material for your writing.

·      Feedback (as appropriate) – constructive criticism of your work and ideas to develop it further.

·      Homework – optional ideas for writing on your own

Helen Clare is an experience teacher of creative writing. She taught for Lancaster University for over 10 years and has run classes for different kinds of groups all over the North West. As a poet she has won prizes in the Arvon Daily Telegraph Competition, the London Writers Competition, and the Cheshire Literature Prize. Her collection Mollusc was published by Comma Press in 2004.  She has also published short stories, articles and educational materials.
