An i hula hoop course that is aimed at regaining core strength and your figure, post bambino (or not)
This class really focuses on strengthening, toning and reducing fat build up in the mid section. Whether you have just recently had a baby or just recently sent them of to school/work, this class is not just for mums, it is for anyone who really wants to do a bit of work to regain, maintain or even obtain a strong stomach side and back.
In the 10 weeks, we will encourage and support each other to maintain and build a regular, gentle workout that will increase your energy levels, your general wellbeing and decrease your waistline.
15 mins of hula hooping 5-7 days a week, will reduce your waistline by 2" in 2 months.

Short version of my path to hooping.
Thats me in the black and white. I'm not a skinny binny aerobics instructor by any means. But I am fit and happy, i have a stomach you could walk accross and i was over 13st after breastfeeding!
 
I got into hooping and hoopdance nearly 2 years ago, when my little boy was 6mths old. People, esp mums in my work place and social life, noticed the effects and i soon found myself raving about hooping and its effect on my life. It does not fail to make me feel happy and joyful even when life is crumbling around me. Someone suggested I started a class and after a while thinking about it, I did...yippie.
 
One of the benefits as a mum, is that my back became stronger. I don't struggle to pick up my baby and now i have loads of fun playing, pretending and having adventures with him.
I know how hard it can be to balance your life as mum and still find time to do something for yourself. More than anything this class is aiming to encourage and support you to pinch a teeny tiny bit of time for you. 

 
 
Starts:
Course starts 8th June 2010 and you book on for 10 weeks. With your dedication, we aim to reduce your waist by anything between 1-2". Of course, it is optional for you to take on this challenge, if you just want a bit of fun exercise every week ... you will be at the right place.
 
Time and place:
Tuesday, 1-2pm. St Ninnians Church. Wilbraham road. Chorlton. M21 0XJ. (see map)
 
Price:
£75 - including 1 large aerobic hulahoop and 2 optional free passes into mondays 8.15pm class (just after baby bedtime).
Deposit must be paid at first class and the remainder settled within 2/3 weeks. Please discuss other options with me if neccessary.
Babies are welcome...
...but we don't have a creche and i'm afraid that only babies that don't yet move around can come. They can be left in their baby carriers at the back of the class and if all goes according to plan will wake up just in time for the end of the class.
