The Chorlton Circle Dance Group

The Chorlton Circle dance group offers something quite different from other types of dance because there are such a variety of dances originating from all around the world.
Some can be energetic and exhilarating, whilst others are calming and meditative. The dances range from the very simple to the intricate and they are all set to some beautiful music.

Come and try it. We are based at the Unitarian Church Hall, Chorlton. You can approach circle dancing as simply enjoyable physical exercise or as something deeper. Either way it brings a sense of peace, togetherness and relaxation.

 What it costs

If you are new to the Chorlton circle dance group your first three sessions will BE FREE.

We offer a subsidised rate courtesy of The Devora Kingsley Bursary Trust.

We also offer a discount if you pay up front for a block of meetings.

The Devora Kingsley Bursary

This bursary is a result of a family donation in memory of Devora Kingsley, who died in March 2008, aged 77. Devora had danced with this group for over 20 years, since the very first class.

The donation has enabled us to offer a lower weekly fee for a while of £3 to anyone on a low income. If you are not sure if you qualify please ask anyone of our steering group (Lynda, Wendy, Jane or Vicky), otherwise just pay the lower amount.
