Hi, remember us? It’s been a busy few months for the team at
Chorlton Arts Radio but now it’s time we let you know what we’ve been
up to!
We’ve spent the winter planning our next outing and we can reveal
today that thanks to funding from the National Lottery we’re able to
bring a bigger and better Chorlton Arts Radio to you from 9am 16th May 2011!
We can also reveal today that this year we’ll be transmitting across the area on 87.7FM as well as online!
Last year we featured 95 live acts, 10 live plays and over 400 people
were involved in the station and this year we’ll not just feature the
arts scene in Chorlton, local community groups and schools will be
bringing you shows and we’re supporting a local charity on air and with
fundraising.
To reflect these changes we’ve designed a new logo
which we’re revealing today! You’ll be seeing a lot of it around
Chorlton in the next few weeks and it’ll be on our new website which
we’re currently finalising.

We’re really excited about our next transmission and will be in regular contact over the next few weeks!

We’re ready for new volunteers to get involved both on air and behind
the scenes! If you’re an individual or part of a community group and
would like to take part in this years broadcast please get in touch
with us.
We’re particularly looking for community groups (environmental,
social, creative – drama, comedy, poetry etc) as well as individuals
with or without show ideas who want to help make a difference to their
