Barlow Moor Community Association is a Registered Charity (No. 1040569) and is run by 17 staff and a Management Committee made up of local people who live or work around the estate. We depend on donations and grants from local businesses and funding organisations in order to help us run sessions which are at the centre of this bustling community. The Centre has a well established Playgroup and Over-60's Groups. South Manchester Credit Union and Manchester Youth Service also use the centre to promote their services.One of the biggest pieces of work is the Holiday at The Nightingale Centre at Great Hucklow for children and their parents/carers to experience a holiday in the country, where they may not get a holiday in normal circumstances.The centre is very busy and operates at full capacity most times.
